Real estate development investment and finance
A creative architect adept at design project development, management and property development where she has held a foray of positions and provided leadership in project development, designing, constructing and managing, residential, industrial, commercial and any other building projects and business units in furtherance of the company’s objectives. A real estate professional been immersed in mixed use developments and has included the entire life cycle of development from design, development and eventually running a REMAX franchise. She also has a record handling stakeholder’s in the development process especially public and community entities for zonings, entitlements and has also been involved in the formulation of a housing public-private partnership and a slum upgrade project.
A passion for the affordable housing sector has seen her at the helm of the Uganda Home Builders Association, serving as the President for the last 3 years and spearheading several advocacy programs including the provision of an enabling environment for private sector roles in the housing sector and Public-Private Partnerships
Accountable for portfolios ranging between USD3m to USD30m and the successful and has been the development of over 4 large scale housing projects An imaginative result orientated personality who is adept at originating potential opportunities as well as negotiating complicated development transactions between various real estate players.
Agri business
A flexible team player that translated her development, project management and stakeholder relations into agro business .An Unrelenting business developer and market intelligence gatherer with a proven ability to deploy a wide and growing network demonstrated as Director Strategy of Kingdom Rice and Zeus Agro a 10,000 acre rice farm . An avid mobiliser of resources has been at the helm of organizing a 10,000 farmer rice outgrower program in Eastern Uganda, marshaling up a the team of stakeholders both in Government of Uganda and Private sector.
Using her community development skills and Public Private Partnership experience she is focused on transforming 250,000 small holder farmers (75% being women) into commercial farmers by 2025 and create a 50% increase in value addition in their produce in the process and as a result a 200% increase in their incomes.
At the helm of mechanization concept to commercialize the farmers by advocating for block farms and making the farmers bankable by securing off takers, Elizabeth is currently supporting farmers in other value chains including sesame and soya where she has linked off takers and financiers to the farmers to support commercialization and later value addition.
